The 2025 Merry Pack Walk for Charity was a festive, fun-filled day for dogs, owners, and the ASCENDK9 team! Held at Panshanger Park in Hertford, this annual event brought together our local dog community for a joyful walk while supporting a great cause: Mind, the mental health charity.

We loved seeing so many familiar faces - and new ones too - coming together to enjoy the crisp winter air, scenic trails, and, of course, some holiday cheer.

A Festive Walk for All Dogs

Dogs of all shapes and sizes joined the walk, from excitable puppies experiencing their first group outing to seasoned four-legged adventurers. It was fantastic to see the dogs engaging, socialising, and practising their focus and recall skills in a relaxed, real-world environment.

Owners also had the chance to:

Build engagement and focus with their dogs
Enjoy a supportive, friendly community atmosphere

Capturing the Memories

To ensure these special moments were captured, we hired Lennie’s Lens, a talented local photographer to attend the event. They photographed our dogs and owners spending time together, enjoying the walk, and being part of a great cause. It was wonderful to see so many candid moments of fun, connection, and festive spirit preserved for everyone to enjoy.

Supporting a Great Cause

This year’s walk raised money for Mind the mental health charity, helping to support mental health services across the UK. Every step taken, every donation made, contributed to a positive impact for those who need extra support, making the day about both community and canine wellbeing.

The Merry Pack Walk isn’t just about exercise - it’s about bringing together our dog-loving community in a fun, safe, and educational environment. From young puppies learning to socialise, to older dogs enjoying the festive excitement, the walk highlighted the joys of responsible dog ownership and the power of training in real-world scenarios!
